David

We had fun photo-shooting David the other week. He was very chill and easy to photograph. Plus he and Joey seemed to be having a good conversation throughout the shoot. They talked about Call of Duty, killing zombies and The Office while I snapped pictures. It's times like these that I really appreciate having a photog partner.

The Salkeld Family

Meet the Salkeld family! We met up with them at a lovely park in Wauwatosa and got to play with Zane. We had a great time; Allison and Christopher were very natural in front of the camera and had lots of trick to make Zane laugh. Joey and I could tell there was a lot of love in that family. Those parents really love that kid and really love each other :)

Auburn

Auburn curls and green eyes under the trees. Doesn't get much better than that! Enjoy these photos :)

Tony + Lisa: The Engagement

We met up with Tony + Lisa in Madison to take some photos for their engagement shoot. They were very relaxed and opened up to us very quickly which made it easy to capture their personalities. Here are some of our favorite photos of them. Oh, and notice the super, awesome "count-down chain" that Lisa made. That was a very fun and creative prop to bring along!

Package It Up

Joey and I want everything in our business to be creative and to be "us", so we came up with a fun, little way to wrap up our photos. We bought square, scrapbook paper and folded it around our dvd like so. It looks like a special, little present when you get it in the mail. We bought the paper and cord from Michaels. Boy, do I love craft stores (Joey does not).

Matt + Val: The Wedding

Matthew and Valeriya were a fun couple to photograph. Their wedding was so laid back and so were they. It was easy to capture the "intimate moments" with them because that is all there were. No posing, no fake smiles, all real. Matt and Val met at a country club. Val is a tennis instructor from Russia, and they instantly hit it off. It was cool to see Val's family come from Russia. They spoke hardly any english, but surprisingly, Joey and I have been learning Russian! Not enough to have a real conversation, but enough to talk about what I ate for breakfast.
